BLOOD DIAMOND meets TEARS OF THE SUN

When his father is killed, a young African boy, Alier is caught in the cross fire between local militia and foreign UN soldiers as both sides vie for control over the hostile desert land. Can Alier hold onto his innocence, or will he be forced to chose? Paper planes is a story about the nature of alliances, the horror of conflict and how innocence navigates the complexities of war.
